JEDSONS BUSH CAMP
Perched on a cliff-edge with sweeping views of the plains 100 metres below, Jedson's camp is the most spectacularly situated bush lodge in Zimbabwe. This most remote lodge is located on the southern boundary of Chizarira National Park. Jedson's is a small intimate camp with a maximum occupation of ten guests.
At Jedson's the emphasis is on tranquility and a real bush experience. The camp is built in the old luxury traditional safari style where there is an abundance of warm hospitality and absolute tranquility. There is no shortage of big game either, and Chizarira National Park boasts an enviable bird list totaling 368 species (including the rare Angola Pitta and Taita Falcon).
The camp consists of a central dining room, lounge, swimming pool and four luxury en suite tented units. In addition the camp is renowned for its romantic honeymoon suite featuring private dining room and bar, four poster bed with views to infinity and jacuzzi overlooking a private water-hole.
This is wilderness at its purest, offering the finest opportunities for walking safaris. The scenic diversity of Chizarira National Park is incomparable. It has as its northern boundary the top of the Zambezi escarpment blanketed in Brachystegium woodland and dotted with crystal-clear springs, and swiftly drops to Acacia bushveld and the sandy Busi river. At Jedson's we offer walking safaris, game drives, night drives and cultural tours. Sundowners are taken at our private look-out two kilometres from camp and looking over an enormous grassland frequented by elephants and buffalo.
