Steve Bolnick
has been guiding in southern Africa since 1978. He has trained aspiring guides across the sub-continent and along the way he has accumulated three university degrees relevant to his guiding profession. He is a licensed professional guide in Botswana and Zimbabwe as well as being a certified specialist guide in Zimbabwe. He has led research safaris for the World Wildlife Foundation, The JLB Smith Institute and Washington University. He is also licensed to immobilize wild animals in Zimbabwe. Steve brings to Untamed Africa his reputation as one of southern Africa’s top walking safari guides.

Peter Comley
is based in Botswana but has guided professionally throughout Africa for the past 21 years. He is recognised as one of Botswana’s foremost guides. His interests are extremely varied and his knowledge on a broad range of diverse subjects is astounding. Peter has gained a reputation for exploring remote and previously unopened areas. Together with his wife, Salome, he has written three authoritative guidebooks on Botswana and Namibia. He is also a widely published author, photographer and poet. Peter brings to Untamed Africa his impeccable guiding reputation and his poetic soul.

Salome Meyer
has guided professionally in Botswana for the past 18 years. In addition to being recognised as an excellent and dedicated guide, Salome has years of experience in handling bookings and custom-designing safaris throughout Africa for demanding guests. Together with Peter, she has produced three guidebooks on Botswana and Namibia and is a widely published photographer. Salome brings to Untamed Africa, the finest travel agency skills, as well as her eye for detail and uncompromising standards for quality on safari and in the office.

Frank Chikosi
is a qualified motor mechanic and charismatic safari guide. Frank maintains our fleet of Landcruisers and leads many of our mobile safaris. Frank is currently studying towards his Zimbabwean full walking guide's license.

Innocent Chigama
is one of the most experienced canoeing guides on the Upper Zambezi River. He has led guests through the channels and rapids of this unique part of The River for the past eight years. He is extremely knowledgeable on the Zambezi and its animals and maintains a keen interest in the seasonal movements and location of the resident hippos as a result his safety record is impeccable and above all his confidence leaves his guests feeling totally secure. |

Vincent Nyoni
is our famous bush chef and camp manager. Vincent creates miracles on a campfire and adds a vital dimension to our guests’ comfort on safari. Vincent’s excellent cuisine combined with his composure and sense of humour, ensure a cheerful and efficiently run bush-camp.

Tom Chuma
has been behind the scenes in the travel industry for the past ten years. Tom has a university degree in accounting and has just successfully completed his MBA. Tom brings to Untamed Africa his considerable financial experience, his proven management skills and his incisive business acumen.

Alice Ndebele
handles reservations in Zimbabwe and ensures that our safaris are completely pre-arranged in order to facilitate the smoothest, seamless safaris.

Freelance Guides
For various reasons it is not always possible for safari companies to use their in-house guides for every safari. Because of our many years of firsthand experience in the industry, Untamed Africa is able to draw upon a pool of the finest and most experienced associated professional guides in the region whom we believe will run any safari in the same spirit as one of our own guides would have done.
