VICTORIA FALLS

The Victoria Falls (colloquilly known as “The Smoke that Thunders”) and the Zambezi River separate Zambia (Livingstone) and Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) and can be viewed and utilised for various excursions from both sides.

Livingstone offers the small but vibrant Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park where white rhinos can be tracked on foot.

Zambia now also offers adrenaline-pumping activities. We will arrange any activities and handle all your reservations for you in Livingstone.

Accommodation facilities range from good camp sites to innovative lodges and five star hotels – all situated on the north bank of the mighhty Zambezi under giant indigenous trees and within easy range of the Falls, Lake Kariba, Kafue, Chobe and Hwange national parks. Contact us for details.

We recommend a minimum stay of:
3 days/2 nights

KAFUE NATIONAL PARK

Approximately the size of Wales, Kafue National Park is the 2nd largest national park in Africa and one of the largest in the world. The Kafue River and its tributaries and the man-made Ithezi-thezi Dam contribute to the great diversity of landscape in the park and make this one of the most interesting and rewarding African parks. Elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion and a large range of antelope can be seen here, as can 400 species of birds. Much of the Park consists of "miombo" woodland, which opens out at intervals into wide grassy areas known as "dambos", grazed by sable, hartebeest, wildebeest, buffalo and zebra. We visit the less frequented southern section of the park and establish our trademark bushcamp at Nanzhila.

We recommend a minimum stay of:
4 days/3 nights

SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

Often referred to as “The Crowded Valley” this magnificent park has one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. The terrain varies from woodland savannah to grassy plains. A plus factor for this park is the fact that game and night drives as well as walking safaris may be conducted here. One of the main attractions is the Thornicroft’s giraffe, which is endemic to the park.

We recommend a minimum stay of:
4 days/3 nights

LOWER ZAMBEZI NATIONAL PARK

This park is located at the foot of a mountain range along the north bank of the Zambezi River and directly opposite Mana Pools National Park (Zimbabwe). Its main attraction is canoe safaris and game walks.

We recommend a minimum stay of:
3 days/2 nights
